Okonomiyaki , these pancakes with cabbage, flour, egg and an almost unlimited possibility of variation, is one of the dishes that I really very good and I always eat like to patronize.
I was fortunate in that my trips to Japan was always in the Kansai region-led, where Okonomiyaki is one of the regional specialties.
I can only recommend those who want to experience another Japanese taste experience, than just sushi , to this court to accept.

"Who does a journey that can tell what" - how true this statement is, my little excursion proved to Dresden.
It started with the ride.
I had placed on the platform at that point at which the train should come to a halt for my boarding. But instead of stopping, the train went past me and was comfortable as a wagon length away from me to stand. As the train was late and hold times are not necessarily long, I entered a small sprint to reach the door of the train.
As for the rest of the sprint, with about 20 kg on the back, it was considered not honest with the sprinting so far away. But I was already a bit and snorted when I was finally on the train.

This Japanese culinary specialty, I would not deprive the truly interested reader.

.

4 weeks holidays are not a lot, especially when the time is filled with preparations for his own wedding. Nevertheless, it was a good time and it resonates neatly with sadness that I must return back to Germany.
Meanwhile, I have to say again German ground under my feet, reflecting the 18 hours on the plane and I must say I am glad it is over ..

It's really funny, you deal with the city of Okayama , so is the Internet and our guide really not very much her, what should be exciting here. But luckily there is a park, the Korakuen-en (English-language link - the German is good for nothing) and the adjacent castle. So we had our highlight that we put on our visit list for the day.
We were very excited regarding the park, because he should be among the finest in Japan.

Not only that, we had a lovely hotel, it was also right next to the Old Town (English-language link) of Kurashiki , which, as I remarked upon our arrival has to offer very handsome buildings.
While on our walk we heard from locals that the area would be lost through the commercialization and restoration of charm, but because I could not compare, for me I had to find that there is a nice corner where you can stay well .
Was offered after dark, it progressed to a small restaurant in the traditional Japanese diet. It was a little expensive, but it was tasty all times.
As we left the restaurant lit up the "blue hour" wonderful and dipped the old town to another, beautiful light.

It is driving tag. It goes from Shikoku back to the "mainland". True for something fashionable cruise on a ferry and drive train was also high on the agenda.
The ferry ride lasted just 60 minutes and I must say that the views were really great addition to the islands and the sea. Was only slightly rough swell and the wind blowing violently it to be a little difficult not overturned. Nevertheless, the sun, the sea, it was just great.
We landed in a village, whose name reminded me very much of a popular game. The place was called " Uno ". From here we wanted to go by bus, but this compound had been abandoned. Fortunately there was but one train and it was to drive.
Although at first glance Uno just a small, not particularly pretty place was so I could discover here too many nice details. Thus they had at the station animal sculptures, a mermaid and the like set up, which gave the square a certain attraction.

60% Chance of Rain. What an unpleasant news for the day. In particular I was pleased about it because I also learned that there are up to Kotohira-gu Shrine , we had now chosen as the target to overcome was 786 steps. Oh, and then the rain.

When it came to Ritsurin Park (Link 1 " Ritsurin Park "/ Link 2" Ritsurin Park "both of which are English-language pages) in Takamatsu visit, I told Eri that there should be one of the most beautiful parka Langen Japan and the construction of approximately 100 took years to complete.
I admit I could not imagine why it takes 100 years to build a park. Now I know it!
Very many of the trees in this park have been grafted on the art of Bonsai and you should easily justify the 100-year period for the design of the garden. In addition, the facility was built with much thought and aesthetic sense.
To schedule a visit, I read often 2 hours. I would say, however, who visited the park should bring more time to enjoy the trees, bridges, lakes in peace.
