This East Coast National Park protects the last large undisturbed area of dry sclerophyll forest in Tasmania. Forest-clad ridges contrast with patches of rainforest and river gorges; waterfalls and spectacular views of the East Coast add to the grandeur of the area. This park was only proclaimed in 1989 and facilities are basic.
